What is a Steam Room?

A sauna bath is a heated enclosure designed to promote relaxation, detoxification, and overall well-being. It uses high temperatures to warm the body, encouraging sweating and improving circulation.

There are two main types of saunas:

  • Traditional Sauna: Uses heated rocks or stoves to warm the air inside, creating a dry-heat environment. Water can be poured on the rocks to generate steam for a more intense experience.

  • Infrared Sauna: Uses infrared heaters to directly warm the body without significantly heating the surrounding air, providing a gentler yet deeply penetrating heat.

Types of Saunas

Traditional saunas use heated rocks or stoves to warm the air inside, creating a dry heat environment with temperatures ranging from 70°C to 100°C (160°F to 212°F). Users can pour water on hot rocks to generate steam for a more intense sauna experience.

Key Benefits:

  • Promotes relaxation

  • Relieves muscle tension

  • Improves circulation

  • Provides a classic sauna experience

Traditional Sauna

Infrared saunas use infrared heaters to warm the body directly rather than heating the air. These saunas operate at a lower temperature range of 45°C to 60°C (115°F to 140°F), offering a gentler but deeper-penetrating heat.

Key Benefits:
Enhances detoxification by promoting deep sweating
Supports pain relief and muscle recovery
Improves cardiovascular health
